I’m always inspired by the beautiful city of Paris, with street after street of tall buildings, in many shades of ivory and slate grey. I painted these two tiny people with this in mind, sitting amidst a row of wonky windows and rooftops.

The soft colour palette reflects that lovely warm glow Paris seems to have, and the charm of the imperfect, slanting lines of the buildings. ‘On the Rooftops’ would be perfect to display in your home near the spot you like to sit and daydream, or plan adventures.

This print is…

• An archival inkjet print - a fancy way of saying a digital print! The print is taken from my own hand-painted illustration, which I have scanned & prepared digitally to be reproduced.

• A5 size (14.85x21cm). This size makes it easy to find the perfect spot in your home, since it’s not too big and not too small - just right! This a standard size too, so it’ll be easy to find a frame for it to go into.

• Made-to-order, from my home-studio in Glasgow, with care & attention to detail. I use Canon inks, which are highly pigmented and lightfast, meaning the print will maintain its quality and brightness for many years to come.

• Printed on specialist Bockingford Watercolour paper, which has a lovely, fine-textured surface.

• Signed by me on the bottom corner, and I always include a hand-written thank you note with every order.

• Unframed, allowing you to decide how you’d like to display it.
