House Portraits: Information & Pricing
I love to paint buildings of all shapes and sizes. A house portrait can simply be an illustration of the house itself, or it could be just a front door, a tenement building, or even the front garden! As well as house portraits, I can create illustrations of memorable places, such as a wedding venue or a holiday home.
How to order & how it works
The best way to commission a portrait is to send me an e-mail (email@example.com) with a few photographs of the home or building you'd like me to paint. The more photographs and information the better! I will then create some rough pencil sketches from the photographs, and I'll figure out the best way to compose the final piece. I'll send you a detailed sketch, and once you are happy with how it's looking, I'll start the final piece. I will then e-mail you a photo of the portrait. There can be changes made at this stage if needed (and if possible!). When you are totally happy with the portrait, I will send you an invoice. Once payment is received, I will post the portrait to you via Royal Mail recorded delivery, kept completely flat and wrapped in acid-free tissue, protected between two sheets of greyboard, and packaged in a hard-backed envelope.
Turnaround time is between 7-14 days, but if you need something in a hurry just ask! Please also note that orders needed in time for Christmas should be ordered well in advance.
A4 size (21 x 29 cm): £100
A3 size (29 x 42 cm): £150
Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and these prices can vary depending on the complexity of the piece.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Just send an e-mail over to firstname.lastname@example.org.
